Insulation resistance meter GM-10kV

The GM-10kV Adjustable High-Voltage Digital Tester is an industrial insulation resistance tester that generates selectable DC high-voltage levels and measures leakage current to compute insulation resistance. It is intended for verification of insulation performance on substations, power plants, transmission lines, underground and overhead cables, large transformers and motors.

Important notes / cautions

• MΩ-range calibration voltage: 0.5 kV; GΩ-range calibration voltage: 2.5 kV.
• For accurate resistance readings, test voltage should be above 20% of the nominal test voltage used.
• When test voltage exceeds 8 kV and measuring resistances above 20 GΩ, exposed high-voltage electrodes in air should be shielded to prevent air ionization effects.
• The 2000 GΩ range is intended as a reference range for dry environments (relative humidity < 70%).
