- The GM-15kV digital high-voltage insulation resistance tester is designed to measure insulation resistance of high-voltage substations, power plants, long-distance and underground power cables, transformers, motors and other electrical equipment.
- Combines analog, digital and mechanical technologies to provide wide output voltage/current capability, broad measurement range, measurement accuracy and strong anti-interference performance.

Applications
- Intended for power systems, telecommunications, electromechanical installation and maintenance, and industrial electrical applications to test insulation resistance of transformers, motors, cables and other electrical equipment.
Safety precautions
- Always connect the safety grounding lead before testing; the instrument generates high voltage and the tested object may contain power-frequency leakage or induced high-voltage energy.
- Do not perform manual discharge while the instrument is operating at high voltage. After testing, wait for automatic discharge and for the voltmeter to return to zero before any manual discharge; avoid strong pulse short-circuit discharges that could damage the tested object's insulation or the instrument's internal circuits.
