Description

Product Overview
EASTAI welded hydraulic cylinders are space-efficient, high-performance actuators designed for heavy-duty mobile and industrial hydraulic systems. The welded barrel and end-cap construction removes the need for tie rods, improving structural stiffness and vibration resistance. These cylinders are specified for construction, agriculture, mining, material handling and marine applications. Available bore sizes: 25 mm to 500 mm; stroke up to 6000 mm; working pressure up to 35 MPa; manufactured to ISO and DIN standards.

Advantages of Welded Hydraulic Cylinder
  • Compact, space-saving design — Welded end-cap construction eliminates external tie rods to reduce overall envelope and simplify installation in confined spaces.
  • High structural strength — Welded barrel and end caps form a monolithic body that withstands high working pressures and side loads without deformation.
  • Reliable sealing — Double-lip or multi-stage sealing systems minimize internal and external leakage for long-term stable operation.
  • Smooth, low-friction operation — Honed tubes and hard chrome-plated rods provide excellent surface finish, low friction and high wear resistance.
  • Customizable configuration — Bore, stroke, mounting style and port locations can be tailored to machine requirements.
  • Long service life and low maintenance — Robust materials, welding and quality components extend lifecycle and reduce downtime.

Manufacturing Process
  • Material selection — High-strength alloy steels and seamless honed tubes chosen per application (common grades: ST52, CK45, 27SiMn).
  • Tube finishing — Precision honing or skived & roller burnishing to achieve tight dimensional tolerance and mirror-like surface.
  • Rod chrome plating — Piston rods induction-hardened and plated with 20–30 μm hard chrome for corrosion and wear resistance.
  • Welding and assembly — End caps, ports and mounts welded with automated MIG/TIG equipment to ensure consistent penetration and joint strength.
  • Heat treatment — Post-weld stress relief and normalization for dimensional stability and toughness.
  • Painting and surface protection — Anti-rust oil plus epoxy or polyurethane coating for corrosion protection.
  • Final testing — Each cylinder pressure-tested to 125% of rated pressure and inspected for leakage and dimensional accuracy.
