Description

Product overview
A hydraulic breaker converts hydraulic power into repeated high‑impact blows for breaking rock and concrete. Correctly matching breaker flow and pressure to the carrier minimizes wear and improves productivity. Frame style selection further reduces transmitted shock and site noise.

Key benefits
  • High‑impact blows for rapid rock and concrete breaking.
  • Improved strike rate and lower fuel consumption when oil flow and pressure are matched to the model.
  • Frame designs available to reduce noise and absorb shock, protecting the carrier and attachment points.

Breaker frame types
  • Box Silent Type: Fully enclosed housing with thick rubber dampeners; reduces noise by ~10–15 dB and protects internal components—suitable for urban demolition and noise‑sensitive sites.
  • Side Type: Shorter overall length for easier pin mounting and field service; improved operator visibility—suitable for trenching and footing work.
  • Top Type: Longer reach for deep vertical hammering; straight top bracket transfers downforce directly—suitable for open‑pit quarries and heavy quarrying.

How to match a hydraulic breaker to excavator weight and flow
Hydraulic oil flow (L/min) is more important than machine tonnage alone when sizing a breaker. Measure actual auxiliary flow and working pressure before selecting a model.
  • Mini Excavators (0.8 – 6 Tons): Require 15–50 L/min oil flow at ~80–120 bar; suited to utility trenching and slab breaking.
  • Medium Excavators (10 – 20 Tons): Need ~80–150 L/min flow paired with 100–140 mm chisel bits; suited to roadwork and building demolition.
  • Heavy Quarry Excavators (25 – 50+ Tons): Demand ~180–260 L/min flow at ~160–180 bar; suited for heavy quarrying and hard rock mining.

Typical applications
  • Quarrying and mining: break granite, basalt and limestone without explosives.
  • Road and bridge demolition: break asphalt, bridge piers and concrete foundations.
  • Trenching and tunneling: form utility channels and tunnel faces in rock.

Field case (example results)
A supplier fitted a heavy top‑type breaker with a 140 mm chisel and adjusted relief valve pressure for a quarry operating on hard granite. Outcomes included:
  • Daily rock tonnage increased by 40% (from 450 to 630 tons/day).
  • Hydraulic oil temperature remained under 65°C, avoiding thermal shutdowns.
  • Annual spare parts costs fell by 25%.
