Operator tips & maintenance- Install a pressure relief valve on the hydraulic line; excess pressure can damage hydraulic motors and excessive flow overheats eccentric bearings.
- Work from the bottom of slopes upward to avoid sliding loose material downward and damaging the bank.
- Check rubber damper and mounting bolts weekly; loose fastenings allow vibration to transmit to the boom and may damage arm cylinders.
- Grease eccentric shaft bearings every 40 operating hours with high-temperature heavy-duty grease to extend bearing life.
