Overview
The Z+F TopCam was developed to significantly accelerate the process of color data capture. It provides two capture modes (Fast-Mode and Pro-Mode) and is designed for fast, easy installation and automatic recognition by compatible scanners.

Capture modes
In Pro-Mode, six images of the same scene are captured with different exposure times per shot to achieve a neutral result even under highly variable lighting conditions. Capture time in Pro-Mode: 30 seconds.
In Fast-Mode, one image is taken per shot, reducing capture time to 12 seconds. Compared to the integrated i-Cam of the Z+F IMAGER® 5024 Supreme and Z+F IMAGER® 5016 (which requires 150 seconds for an HDR panorama), the TopCam is substantially faster.

Imaging & performance
The TopCam features three capture positions allowing capture of the entire environment with a total panorama resolution of ~60 MPx. Images are almost parallax-free but do not reach the geometric precision of the i-Cam. The device supports HDR capture and automatic white balance.

Installation & compatibility
The TopCam is easy to install, can be mounted effortlessly, and is automatically recognized by the scanner, simplifying operation and workflow.
