Product overview
Z+F SynCaT® is a mobile mapping software that links the Z+F PROFILER® 9012 laser scanner with external positioning and navigation systems. SynCaT stands for synchronization, calibration and transformation and provides workflows to synchronize, calibrate, transform and correct mobile mapping data.

Key functions
  • Calibration: Processing of calibration parameters for different system integrations, handling translation and rotation offsets between the navigation unit (trajectory) coordinate system and the Z+F PROFILER® 9012 laser scanner coordinate system.
  • Synchronization: Synchronize Z+F PROFILER® 9012 laser scanner data with trajectory (navigation) data and generate 3D point cloud files.
  • Transformation: Transform 3D point cloud data to different local coordinate systems and apply local/global height correction models (support for geoid correction files).
  • Correction: Individual offset estimation referring to predefined ground control points (GCPs).
