The new Sampl’air air sampler has been evaluated according to the ISO 14698 standard by the UK Health Protection Agency (HPA) in Porton Down. The Institute said in its conclusion: “The results of the physical testing of the Sampl’air were very consistent and the standard deviations were of a low order for aerobiological studies... ... the Sampl’air should be capable of collecting over 99% of particles occurring in this environment (Whyte et al 2007)”.

HI 901 is an automatic titrator from HANNA instruments® that complements our wide range of products dedicated to quick and accurate laboratory analysis. Each unit is provided with numerous features amenable to routine samples analysis. HI 901 performs acid/base, potentiometric titrations. This versatile titrator offers a total of 100 methods: 89 of which can be customized. When powered on, the instrument initiates an internal diagnostics check and then readies itself for the first titration of the day. A large LCD screen clearly shows the chosen method, correlated information and also indicates which parameters may be adjusted. A real-time titration curve is shown on the display; this feature is useful when new methods are tested or when a procedure needs to be optimized. At the end of the titration, all data, including the graph, are automatically stored in memory and can be copied to disk via the built-in floppy drive or through direct connection with the serial cable supplied with the titrator. The PLATE HANDLER can be used for different applications. The first development is to automate the colony counting with COUNTERMAT FLASH or Flash & Go.
Built-in Bar code reader: The bar code reader stops the rotating movement when has got the information. This information could be used for identification purposes as well as to give orders to the counter.
Compact carrousel: The Petri plates are stacked in a carrousel that contains up to 80 (four columns of 20). The carrousel is taken from the incubator and installed in the unit. The Petri dishes can have a bar code label to be identified. If they do not have a bar code label, the position of the Petri plate in the column and the column itself are used as identification.

Takes samples during blending or mixing operation
The XSIZE automatic sampler from Dynamic Air Inc. has been designed to take almost any sample size automatically during a blending or mixing operation. It provides a method to take samples at any point in a process system for verification of dry bulk materials. Fabricated from all 304 or 316 stainless steel construction, it can be programmed to take a sample upon demand at predetermined times as required.
The XSIZE automatic sampler is designed for mounting directly on a mixer, discharge chute or any place in the process desired. Samples are then collected in a standard commercially available clear plastic container. Removal of the plastic container is simple and done manually. The In-Line Automatic Sampler
A Primary Cross-Cut Sampler is most often installed in place of a section of spouting and can be either a 90 or 45 degree model. As material flows through the sampler, a "pelican" type diverter, with an opening in the leading edge, traverses the stream and extracts a representative sample. The "pelican" remains in the rest position, under a seal and OUT OF THE MATERIAL STREAM, until an automatic/manual signal is given to collect another sample. Frequency of travel is controlled by a timer in the control panel.
Sample Divider
A Mechanical Divider receives the "sample" by gravity from the primary sampler. Then it passes through a continuously oscillating swing valve that reduces the "sample" and distributes it into a 1, 2, or 3 sample adapter. Dividers are manufactured in four models--MD 100, MD 200, MD 300, and the MD 1000, and use is determined by the flow rate, installation, and frequency of the samples. Excess sample is returned to the material stream.
Automatic Controls - Sealed and Locked
A Control Panel controls the operation of the primary sampler and mechanical divider. A digital integral timer is used to control the frequency of travel of the "pelican." Panels can be built for individual control or for control of multiple sampling systems.

Smartline Manager 5000 (LPG, Degasser, Interface)
Fully equipped analytical version of the Smartline Manager 5000, which includes a low pressure gradient (LPG) module, a 4-channel degasser module, and an interface module for 3rd party instruments.
The combination of the Smartline Manager 5000 with the Smartline Pump 1000 provides for a quaternary LPG system. The valve block built of PEEK is controlled by the Smartline Pump 1000 and delivers gradient mixtures of the highest precision over the entire flow range up to 50 ml/min.
An optional integrated 4-channel degasser module provides outstanding performance through its use of a newly developed micro vacuum pump while taking up only a minimum of space.
