The Reovib BK032 is a monitoring unit for vibratory feeders. By using this measuring device in conjunction with an accelerometer e.g. Reovib SW10, vibration levels can be monitored. An acceptance window can be set defining adjustable maximum and minimum limits. If either of these values are exceeded then a corresponding relay will operate. During the unstable, start-up phase a time delay can be set so that spurious readings are ignored. The unit has a built-in sensor power supply available for direct connection. A 4...20mA signal can be used instead of an accelerometer.

It is typically necessary to conduct measurements at the location of the future installation of ultra-accurate 3D measurement machines in order to guarantee that existing floor vibrations do not exceed the maximum allowed values. Vibrational accelerations are measured within a defined frequency range, (1-100 Hz) as a simple sum value measurement cannot provide a sufficient amount of information about the exact conditions. Evaluation of the force-distance signal is conducted with a Fast Fourier Analyzer that displays a measured value for each frequency of the spectrum. (vibration acceleration in g) In case the disturbances (vibration immissions) exceed the permissible range, our PC calculation software can help to ascertain the suitable isolation. Very precise vibration analysis in the lower frequency range can be conducted with a highly-sensitive geophone. Vibration speeds of under 0.01µm/s in the range of 0.2 to 30Hz can be recorded with a geophone. Especially in the semiconductor, nanotechnology, and ultra-precise 3D measurement industries it is necessary to conduct very precise vibration measurements in order to guarantee an optimal and client-specific configuration.

The DT9837A is a highly accurate USB data acquisition module that is ideally suited for portable noise and vibration measurement and analysis. Four 24-bit IEPE (ICP) sensor inputs are synchronized with a tachometer input to provide data streams that are matched in time for field or laboratory use. A read-back channel from the analog output guarantees perfect correlation of all signals in the input stream, the output stream, and the tachometer.
This rugged small module is self powered via the USB connection to a PC or laptop, no external power supply is needed. This makes it ideal for portable measurement applications. Additionally, two modules can be triggered simultaneously for perfectly synched measurements over eight inputs.
The DT9837A ships with a software applet to get you up and running right out-of-the-box. This applet supports basic operation of the module and can be easily modified for more advanced capabilities using Measure Foundry®, our popular rapid application builder software.

HI 3600 Machine Monitor
Full Functionality:
- Vibration Monitoring: Vibration can be monitored through acceleration, velocity, and displacement measurement, with customizable filtering. The HI 3600 will accommodate whatever sensing mechanism and monitoring range is best suited for you and your applications, regardless of whether it involves probes, accelerometers, or high/low frequencies.
- Impact Measurement: for reciprocating motion issues such as mechanical looseness or detonation: While many equipment issues can be monitored using vibration monitoring, impact measurement will call attention to impact or shock related issues that are often times hidden using typical vibration monitoring technologies.
- Rod Drop Monitoring: Rod drop monitoring is a capabilitiy used to measure the wear and tear on rider bands, rings, and seals for reciprocating engines and compressors.
- Expansion Channels: With an Additional 16 Channels, you can monitor any parameter in the process (such as temperature, KW Load, or position), tying them into the 3600 Machine Monitor.
Full Connectivity:
The HI 3600 uses the Hardy-Links Connectivity structure of the 3000 Controllers to allow you to connect to your process from anywhere.
- Hardy Web-Link is an embedded webserver that enables local or remote access to your condition monitoring system.
- Hardy e-Link is an electronic mail feature that enables your machine to a) notify you of alarms, or b) receive a customized equipment performance report. These emails can be sent to PC's, cell phones, or to pagers.
- Hardy PDA-Link allows you to access all aspects of your 3600 Machine Monitor using the IR Port on your Palm PDA.

Wireless Condition Monitoring for Essential Assets
Essential Insight .mesh is designed to address essential assets by augmenting your conventional hardwired permanent monitoring and hand-held portable monitoring strategies-allowing reliable and affordable condition monitoring where conventional technology has reached its limits.
a significant barrier to the adoption of conventional permanent monitoring has always been the complexity and installation costs associated with permanently mounting transducers and running the necessary hardwiring for signal and power. This is especially true for remote locations or areas of your plant where access is difficult.
Wireless technology overcomes the limitations of conventional wired and portable systems - delivering the data quality, quantity and access capabilities of permanent condition monitoring at a lower cost. We are proud to be at the leading edge of these technologies with the introduction of our new Essential Insight .mesh wireless solution.
