Electronical pressure switch MagSwitch with integrated LED
The compact electronic pressure switch MagSwitch provides pressure monitoring. Adjusting screws are used to set the switching point whilst under pressure. Integrated LEDs indicate the current switching state.
The principle of non-impact measurement based on the Hall-effect produces a pressure switch which has a high level of repeatability and durability, even in the case of a high number of pressure cycles.
The contact functions (normally open / normally closed) and the contact types (p-switching / n-switching) are available as optional extras. Switching currents ranging from a few Micro-Amps to 100mA allow the MagSwitch to be easily integrated into almost any control system. The adjustable hysteresis enables to build up 2-position controllers easily without additional external components.
A pressure connection free of elastomers qualifies the MagSwitch for many liquid and gaseous media.
The metal diaphragm can also be used without any problem for simultaneously occurring pressure and vacuum.

The dV-2 PS is a sophisticated digital pressure gauge with two independent pressure switch outputs. The gauge employs KELLER’s proven microprocessor technology which produces highly accurate results. All readings are linearised and temperature corrected, to give an accuracy of 0,2 %FS.
There are two independent switches for High and Low control functions. These are solid state and therefore not subject to wear. The switch points are programmed directly from the two front panel buttons and a menu system. Alternatively, the dV-2 PS can be connected via the RS485 link to a laptop/PC, and configured using KELLER’s “Pressure Switch Console” software. User defined configurations can be stored on the computer for future reference. Pressure sequences can also be monitored and recorded on the PC for application diagnostic purposes using KELLER’s Read30 software.

If Machine Pressure is Important to you, We've Got Your Sensor System
GE supplies special-purpose pressure transducer solutions for use in applications such as combustor instability ("humming") detection on gas turbines, cylinder performance characteristics (P-V curves, rod compression/tension, suction/discharge pressure, etc.) on reciprocating compressors, and early warning of seal failures on process pumps by monitoring pressure across the seal face. These applications requires a transducer specifically designed for the pressures, temperatures, and cyclic stresses encountered in such harsh environments while delivering reliable machinery information.

Application
The precision pressure transducers of this type are of a sturdy and compact construction. They are low-priced and can be supplied to operate in many measuring ranges. Because of their favourable technical data and a high degree of reliability they offer an interesting alternative to pressure measuring applications in all fields of machine construction, process engineering, aeronautics and astronautics.
The pressure transducers are easy to handle and immune to shock loads and vibrations as they are constructed without moving parts. They have a small dead volume. Their design makes them well suitable for both dynamic and static measuring performances, with the media being either liquid or gaseous. Measuring element and transducer housing ≥ 0 ... 50 bar are made of one piece of stainless steel. This guarantees absolute impermeability and insensitivity against aggressive media. For pressure transducers with ranges < 0 ... 20 bar critical media can cause damages in the area of the sensor body’s welding seams. In this case please contact us.

Series 3L...10L, a new range of transducers that benefit from smaller capsule dimensions and crevice free diaphragms. Keller has developed a new technique for laser welding very thin stainless steel media isolation diaphragms. The smaller crevice free transducers still retain all the traditional performance, stability, and quality, for which Keller is renowned.
Each transducer is supplied with a calibration sheet indicating sensitivity, linearity, zero offset, temperature errors and the compensation resistors to substantially reduce zero offset and zero temperature errors.
With the laser welded technology, transducers having diameters as low as 9,5 mm can be realised. Diameter is to some extent dependent upon the pressure range measured, low pressures require larger diameters, higher pressures can be achieved with smaller diameters. This is due to the expansion of the oil under temperature that creates an internal pressure due to the resistance of the diaphragm. The smaller the diameter, the higher the internal pressure and the more difficult is the zero compensation.
