Level Control
Industry's requirements for level and pressure measurement are as varied as industry itself. Finding a system which can cope with that wide scope and do it accurately, safely and with absolute repeatability is one of the key tasks facing today's process manager. With hazardous products and harsh environments to handle, perhaps requiring intrinsically safe equipment, one of the main factors in choosing a level/pressure system must be its reliability and toughness.
Efficient Level Measurement Solutions
For industry to benefit from the installation of level measurement systems, the selected system must be reliable, repeatable and accurate. In addition, it should be installed quickly, with a minimum of costly down time and it should provide an interface with data acquisition suppliers and control equipment.
By employing equipment that satisfies these criteria companies can increase both their efficiency and productivity. However, with so many different techniques to choose from, selecting the best method for your application is difficult.
We at CT Holledge, with our range of pneumatic and electronic pressure sensors manufacturers, will assist you through the minefield of system selection and supply you with equipment that not only meets your requirements but exceeds them. |

| The ifm manufacturers of pressure sensors are based on a ceramic measuring pressure cell which converts the measured quantity of pressure into a capacitive signal as a result of the deflection of a diaphragm. A microprocessor controls the evaluation of the electrical signal. For the efector 500 the system pressure is directly indicated on the unit by an LED display. |

"The surveillance of the working pressure in a system is a very important operation parameter in fluid power and lubrication systems.
Depending on the type or mode of the control system, the display and / or the indication of relevant pressure levels, different pressure limits or continuous readings are required. In many cases a variety of different sample points are controlled and displayed by manufacturers of pressure switches with professional digital displays at a centre point. Traditionally, these pressure switches are all hydraulically piped up to the sample points.
The Pressotronic now offers a more contemporary and simple method for reliable surveillance of system pressure.
Depending on the application we offer a choice of adjustable pressure switches with digital display directly installed at the sample point or versions with separate sample point industrial transmitters and professional remote control and display units. In this case, the transmitter and the professional displays are connected just by simple elastic cables instead of inflexible pipes.
Both versions provide almost fully identical modules. The control and display unit features a three digit Light emitting diode display with good readability even under poor visibility conditions. As a combined unit, the display can be positioned within an angle of 270° .
The control unit itself is designed for 35 mm rail mount. This allows to compile several units without additional installation materiel in professional cabinets.
The transmitter is available for stand alone with an analogue 4-20 mA output. |

Description
The fibre optic manufacturer of pressure sensor P-01 consists of a membrane that is connected to a FBG mounted under pre-strain. When pressure is applied to the membrane, the membrane will deflect resulting into a change in the FBG strain value and hence also in a change of the reflected FBG wavelength.
The head of the pressure sensor is foreseen of a thread that allows connecting the sensor to pipelines, cocks and vessels.
In order to compensate for temperature influences, a high resolution manufacturer of temperature probe is integrated within the housing.
The housing is made of stainless steel and is terminated with an optical interconnection using a plastic tubing. Tubing lengths and manufacturer of connector can be specified following the needs of every application.
The sensor is single connectorised but can on request also be designed for series configurations.
Features
The pressure sensor P-01 can measure pressure and temperature with a resolution of 0,05% Full Scale and 0,1 °C respectively and an accuracy of 1% Full Scale and 1 °C respectively. The pressure range can be chosen between 1 and 150 bar.
Applications
The pressure sensor can be applied for flow control in all sorts of pipelines and liquid level measurements in reservoirs and others. |
