Our speciality: small precision springs
with a weight of between 5/100ths of a gram and 300 grams.
Compression, traction, torsion – wire ranging from Ø 0.15 to 4.00 mm.
Production: 1 000 to 20 million units.
Very careful packing and delivery "Just in Time"..
Design assisted by a calculation software and prototyping service which provides the customer, within a very short period, with a small batch of industrial springs so that it can test their suitability for the intended application.
Torsion springs
Production of springs with a cylindrical, conical or biconical body, and single or multiple legs. Right or left-hand winding depending on the direction of loading.
Shaped springs made of elastic wire and double-bodied springs in symmetrical or asymmetrical shapes.

Special springs
Areas of application:
Adaptation to special fitting requirements in : Couplings, Gearboxes, transmissions, etc.
Mubea will work with the customer to develop special springs to meet the requirements of specific applications.
|
|
|
When suitably sized, the spring washer allows compensating for machining deviations, expansion plays, and ensures in any case that the ball bearing performs under the best conditions.

|
Wave Springs
Areas of application:
Automatic transmissions
Backlash compensation, etc
Mubea produces wave springs with a dimensional range of outside diameter 20 mm to 300 mm. Wave springs are often used to improve gear shift quality in automatic transmissions.Wave springs are designed to meet individual customer requirements.

- Crest-to-Crest® Wave Springs
Crest-to-Crest Wave Springs can replace conventional round wire springs while occupying only half the space. Crest-to-Crest Springs offer the same force and deflection as standard coil springs.
Crest-to-Crest springs are stocked in a wide variety of loads and deflections; standard parts are available from 3/8” to 16”. Special designs can be from .200” to 90”; specials are affordable because of Smalley’s No-Tooling-Cost™ process.

|
Smalley's Metric Crest-to Crest series are available in dimensions from 6 to 60 mm.Crest-to-Crest springs enable original equipment manufacturers to reduce the size of their assembly by up to 50% while maintaining the same amount of force and deflection as a regular coiled spring. Crest-to-Crest wave springs minimize assembly cost and total assembly size due to the reduced spring cavity required. Available in carbon and stainless steel from stock.

Established in 1924, BONATRE is a leading spring manufacturer.
Scope of production:
Compression springs, extension springs, torsion springs
Wave springs and spring washers
Strip steel parts
EDM manufacturing

Crest-to-Crest Wave Springs offer the unique advantage of assembly space savings when used to replace coil springs. They can maintain the same force and load specifications of a conventional round wire spring, yet occupy 50% or less of the axial space, resulting in lowered operating heights, free heights, and solid heights.

Boker's Wave Spring Washers
Boker's is a metal stamping manufacturer of wave spring washers. Wave spring washers, also called wave washers, generally have several curvilinear lobes. The wave spring washer is an efficient washer for obtaining loads when the load is static or the working range is small and the amount of axial space is limited. Wave spring washers often have three, four, or six waves, however, any number of waves can be produced. By increasing the number of waves, the thickness can be reduced for a given load at the expense of decreasing the amount of deflection and increasing the radial stress. Wave uniformity is important because the load rate doesn’t begin until all waves are evenly loaded.
By sending your product specs Boker's can manufacture your wave spring washers in a variety materials.

Circular washer which are pre-formed with smooth flowing undulations, thus creating a product with spring properties when compressed.
Emmotts is internationally renowned for its range of waved washers used to pre-load bearings in electric motors. Recent development have enabled the company to address diverse applications in situations where relatively high loads are required from limited deflections, for example seals and valves. Split or slotted waved washers can be produced also and materials range from spring and stainless steel to copper and nickel alloys.

· Single Turn Wave Springs
Single turn Wave Springs are perfect for tolerance take up and preloading an assembly. Smalley Single Turn Springs are coiled not stamped, providing for an affordable, precision load, stainless steel option. Wave Springs are stocked from ½” to 16” in both carbon and stainless steel.
· Bearing Preload
Single turn wave springs are ideal for bearing preload. The wave spring preloads the bearing through its outer race, taking up play in the bearing. By preloading a bearing, you will reduce bearing damage and wear.
Smalley’s Bearing Wave Spring Series comes in metric sizes to match popular bearing sizes. Over 150 standard bearing springs are available from stock, 16mm to 580mm. Specials are available for unique bearing sizes with No-Tooling-Charges™.

The shapes of wire forms are only limited by the imagination of the designer, equally with the latest CNC forming machines the ability to produce such wire forms is, in many cases only limited by the skills and imagination of the machine setter.
Airedale Springs Ltd has continued to invest in the latest CNC coiling / wire forming machines increasing its capabilities including those in wire forms. We are able to produce simple wire forms or complex wire forms by using the most effective ways possible, such as CNC, special tooling or hand made processes, as appropriate.
We have been able to assist many of our customers in solving their wire form design problems. Some of our solutions have lead to significant cost savings on tooling, manufacture, assembly costs and materials usage.
The wire forms shown here are just a very small example of the components we have manufactured. They are used in a diverse range of applications including:
- Baggage label clips
- Electrical switchgear
- Light fittings
- Hooks
- Telecommunications equipment
- Textile machinery
- Safety equipment
