Components or Complete Systems
MACRON Positioning Tables are available as a single axis solution, assembled for a multitude of X-Y and X-Y-Z positioning duties or as part of a complete mechanical motion system. Many optional features are offered including screw pitch, ball nuts, acme bronze and plastic nuts, preloaded nuts to reduce backlash, custom motor mounting and various rail options for the linear bearing. There are several motor mounting options for MACRON Positioning Tables. Typical mounting consists of an integral Motor Mount and a motor adapter NEMA 23, 34 or 42.

The 130 series tables are designed to maximize performance while minimizing physical size and cost. These tables use a low friction, preloaded, recirculating linear ball bearing system, which rides on a single precision ground linear rail. The single linear rail is mounted to a precision machined aluminum base, which offers a rigid support over the entire travel of the table's carriage. The load is mounted to a precision machined aluminum carriage, which has threaded stainless steel inserts for high strength and wear life. There are 30 different acme & ball screw options that offer high efficiencies and long life at an economical price. These tables are designed to allow for numerous options. The compound table 1 from isel consists of two linear guides LES 5 that are connected in rectangular way by two ground steel plates. In this basic version, the linear guides have a travel range of 420 mm. The individual axes are driven by a stepping motor and a ball screw drive with a pitch of 5 mm.
In order to reach very high load capacities, each axis is provided with four linear slides.
In addition to this basic version, it is possible to combine all linear guides LES 5 by means of connecting plates for compound tables from isel. You can choose from different travel ranges, pitches and drive motors to assemble an individual compound table.
The face-milled aluminium T-slot plates form isel are available in the widths 250 mm und 375 mm and in the lengths 592 mm, 692 mm, 792 mm and 1,092 mm. The scope of delivery includes the complete fastening material necessary.

Dynamic Structures and Materials (DSM) offers custom design capabilities for rotary and linear flexure-guided stages required for precision motion control and positioning applications and for challenging environments. DSM's flexure mechanism designs are used in unique positioning applications where backlash- and stiction-free performance are critical.
The 3-axis optomechanical positioning mount pictured here is a representative example of DSM's design capabilities for flexure-guided stage design. A custom, multi-axis design required three axes of flexure-guided motion for a 4 kg payload. The design requirements included ± 2 mm of linear travel adjustment in one axis and ± 2° of rotational adjustment in two additional axes. The assembly's design minimizes undesirable motion during temperature transients and shock loading.
DSM designed the optical mount using a titanium and aluminum construction. Fine thread screw adjusters provide manual adjustment capability, although the design lends itself to being easily reconfigured for motorized position adjustment. Pre-load springs and flexure pivots provide return force.

Gullco Welding Positioners are positive drive rotary turn tables complete with mounting flange, drive and tilt mechanisms and microprocessor based pulse width modulation motor controls. Standard and Programmable models are available.
They are driven by a low voltage permanent magnet motor and gearhead power unit assembly. The microprocessor motor control enables operator interface of start, stop, clockwise rotation, neutral, counter clock-wise rotation and infinitely variable control of the speed, within the range of the model.
Rotation speed is electronically controlled using an optical tachometer located on the back of the gear-motor. Speeds within the range of the model are infinitely variable in both clockwise and counter-clockwise directions through a rotary speed adjustment potentiometer located on the remote control.
Table tilt is manually set at any desired angle, from 0° through 90°, quickly and easily. Safety is greatly enhanced with Gullco’s low voltage (24 V) control and power supply system.
Standard or Purge-equipped units are available and each can be supplied in one of two speed ranges to suit specific application requirements.
These positioners are drilled and tapped for mounting Gullco Model WP-250 or WP-400 Self-Centering Grippers. These are versatile and efficient grippers for pipe, pipe fittings, flanges, etc.

Zaber's TSB Series of translation stages are ball bearing linear stages with 28mm or 60mm of travel. They are compatible with our T-LA series miniature linear actuators and our NA11 stepper linear actuators and can be used in x-y stage configuration.
Vacuum compatible translation stages (TSBxx-xV) use vacuum compatible greases and epoxies and non-anodized components. These translation stages have been used successfully in vacuum applications down to 10-6 Torr.

Easy Auto Move – the new semiautomatic XY-table
This semi-automatic XY-table offers the ideal combination of manual handling and automatic control:
it can easily be moved by hand but also be operated motor-controlled.
The integrated controller can store any position and re-established it repeatedly by the touch of a button. This feature enables the user to make a series of reference images for the overlay function which automatically compares subsequent live images with the reference images for compliance. That way you can save a considerable portion of the time you would otherwise need for repositioning your inspection tool, e.g. in the search for defects in complex assemblies.
The XY-table also comprises a board holding plate which is held in place magnetically and allows easy positioning of many different objects.
Traverse path in both directions is 230 mm.
