The Bretonstone® Slabs plants produce large-sized slabs which are made by combining and compacting the materials using a "vibrocompression vacuum process.
The stone mix consists of stone aggregates, fine mineral particles and organic based bonding agents.
Slab sizes range from 125 x 306 cm up to 165 x 330 cm with a finished thickness of 7 mm up to 30 mm. These slabs can be sold as they are or can be transformed into finished products to the size required.
The stone materials constitute up to 94% of the weight of the finished product and are in general either siliceous (granite, quartz, quartzite, porphyry, sand etc.) or calcareous (marble, limestone, dolomite etc.) with sizes ranging up to 6-8mm.
The organic resin normally used as bonding agent is an unsaturated unsaturated polyester resin compounded with additives to enhance adhesiveness.
Slab production rate, depending on the plant model and layout, can vary for 1,000 square metres up to 3,300 square metres per working day.

The model RDU3-A, is a fully automatic unit consisting of an electronic demagnetizing and handling unit with a conveyor belt manufacturers. It has also a compressed air system for top coil height regulation and applying a load to the rings during demagnetization.
The RDU3-A has been created to demagnetize large professional bearing rings: Diameters 120 to 420; Height 20 to 200. The versatile working of this machine guarantees complete adaptability to a wide-range of applications.
Functioning sequence: The ring is loaded onto the suppliers of conveyor belt, it is detected and measured, transported to the centre of the demagnetizing coils. At this stage, the conveyor belt stops, the coil descends pneumatically while a load is applied to the ring to be demagnetized. The coil rises and an enabling signal are given when a new ring is delivered. The conveyor belt starts again and the demagnetized ring is unloaded.
