Parker Instrumentation's high-pressure hand valves feature the company'sMPI(tm) end connections. Instead of offering traditional 'cone and thread' connections to tubing, the new valves - which include many options for operation at up to 15,000 PSI/1034 bar - come with familiar compression tube fitting ends.
These joints can be assembled in seconds by simply tightening a nut.
The new MPI valve range includes 2- and 3-way ball valves, 2-way needle valves in inline or angle configurations, check valves, relief valves, plus options for 3- and 2-way pressure and stem connections.
The range includes options for pressures from 10,000 to 15,000 PSI / 690 to 1034 bar, and tubing sizes from 1/4 to 3/4 inches outside diameter.
The new valves may be used on cold-drawn 1/8-inch hard (unannealed) 316 stainless steel tubing, or thick-walled (annealed) instrumentation-grade 316 tubing. The fittings also feature nuts coated with molybdenum disulphide, which provides a long-lasting lubricant to help prevent thread galling, and reduces the torque required to create the seal - easing both assembly and the remaking of joints.

Characteristics:
Japan Patent No1769954(40-300mm)
An original design with a spherical inner surface of the body contacting to spherical ends of the disc hub allows its self-alignment. This design ensures prevention of over-run of the disc.
(350-600mm) A spacer ring is provided between each end of the disc hub and the inner surface of the body for self-alignment of the disc. The over-run of the disc is prevented by a protrusion on the inner surface of the body.
Disc with thin but highly stiff rib:
(40-300mm) The disc has a thin, but highly stiff rib.
(350-600mm) The rib of disc has a convex figuration like an end plate of a tank. Either design has successfully reduced thermal expansion and shows a constant sealing capability against changes in temperature or pressure of fluid.
Double Eccentric Structure:
When the disc rotates, it unseats at a small open angle, by its cam effect. It prevents seat abrasion and provides perfect shut-off for a long period.
Seal the flow from both directions:
The valve can seal in reverse flow as well as the preferred direction, and cope with the flow direction changes. The ball lock method is adopted to facilitate the easy replacement of the seat ring. Metal seat and Teflon seat are both quickly replaceable. |

Remote Control Valve:
Hayward's Pneumatically Actuated Diaphragm Valves are designed for the reliable, remote control of liquids in piping systems. They are suitable for both clean and slurry type fluids at pressures up to 150 PSI.
Position Indicator:
You never have to guess if a Hayward Diaphragm Valve is in the open or closed position. A visual position indicator comes standard with every valve.
Powerful Actuator:
The actuator used to operate the valve, while lightweight and compact, is still powerful enough to open and close the valve at all internal pressures up to the full rated pressure of the valve,150 PSI.
No Corrosion Problems:
Hayward's Diaphragm Valves stand up to the most aggressive fluids and they will never rust, corrode or contaminate the process fluid. Even the actuator housing is plastic and requires no failure prone coating or painting.
Modular Options:
Several modular design options are available. This concept is very cost effective because the actuator can be configured exactly for a specific application using only the options required. You never have to pay for options you do not need.
