The capping station is composed of a column where the cap distributor, the chute with the releasing head and the capping heads are installed.
The screw capping machines are manufactured in two versions:
PPV for pre-threaded plastic screw caps with a positive Pick&Place system. The capping station is equipped with closing heads having a magnetic friction to adjust the closing force and are hermetically sealed to prevent water or stream ingress.
VA for aluminium screw caps with direct pick system. The capping station is equipped with closing heads in stainless steel, complete with rolls that seal the cap to the container (ROP or ROPP).
In the event of no container, the head doesn't release the cap.
The caps distributor automatically and continuously feeds the chute and it is equipped with a no cap sensor.
In case the machine has to treat PET/PE/HDPE bottles, the filler can be equipped with a neck holding system.

Macofar Intermittent Motion Capping Machine
The CSP 6 is an intermittent motion capping machine. The vials infeed and outfeed at the Macofar automatic capping machine is done by a conveyor belt in polyurethane. That guarantees a correct transport of any vial according the table on the left.
The vial position fixing during the closing is assured by self centering grippers.

Automatic capper with automatic cap feeding.
The inline configuration does not require any turning star wheel for the bottles, thus making the equipment particularly flexible and adaptable to different bottle sizes. In this way the bottle changeover costs are reduced while guaranteeing the automation of the closing system and the achievement of a high production speed.
Ideal model for:
- Middle-sized to high productions (production will be proportional to the chosen configuration);
- handling very diversified bottle sizes with no additional costs; ideal also for the automatic capping of jerry cans./tanks;
- specific needs for a flexible and versatile machine which can simply be adapted - at reduced costs - through supplementary changeover tools
- changeover to be executed in maximum 10 minutes
The Ro Capper basic configuration is provided with the following modules
- Clutched magnetic capping head with cap jaw in Vulkolan® provided in conformity with the cap styles to be handled. Easily replaceable when changing over to a new cap size.
- Pick & Place system (if required) to transport the cap from the chute to the capping head.
- Automatic cap distributor with vibrating bowl, cap delivery chute and adjustable capping turret. The vibrating bowl is provided with soundproof hood in order to keep the noise level below 80dB.
- Manual height adjustment in order to suit to different bottle sizes All components are manufactured in AISI 304 or 316; all plastic materials are FDA-certified.

The PRESS-ON CAPPER is a linear machine used for caps applied on the bottle by pressure. It includes:
- Cap hopper
- Canal chute
- Placing system of cap on the neck
- Device to snap the cap on the neck
- Specific systems to sterilize the caps in order to avoid the contact of contaminating agents present on the cap with the bottle neck
The bottle takes the cap directly from the canal chute.
The snapping of the cap on the bottle neck is carried out through the pressure developed by a belt conveyor, provided with a system to adjust the force in order not to stress the bottle.

CAPPING-ASSEMBLING MACHINE MODEL RFC8C
It is designed for HI-SPEED reaching to over 18.000 bottles per hour.
It has been designed for capping the container or assemble 2 or more pieces together.
Within some typical applications we find injectable product into vials.
