Chain conveyors consist of a continuous, motor-driven chain arrangement for the transportation of material, which rides on or is attached to the chains. There are normally two chains per conveyor, but this number can vary. There are numerous types of conveyor chains, the choice depending on the application.
Chain conveyors can be used for in applications. They commonly transport bulk material (automotive parts, pallets, drums, metal trays) and hopper discharge (grains, scrap metal).
The chain can be adjusted or changed to suit the material (bulk or unit). The choice of technology depends on the application (loading, elevating, friction transport): pitch roller chain, link chain, plastic sleeve, deep link chain, top roller, plastic roller, attachment chain, outboard roller, bearing roller, bearing bush.
