The DAT 3018 device is designed to acquire up to eight analog input signals. The data values are transferred with MODBUS RTU/ASCII protocol on the range of RS 485. The RS 232 interface is also available. The device can be connected to thermocouples or up to + /- 1 V voltage signals. The Cold Junction compensation is operated internally. The device ensures high accuracy and stable measure versus time and temperature through the 16 bit converter. Two watch-dog timer alarms are also provided for security. Moreover, the 2000Vac isolation between input, power supply and serial line removes eventual ground-loop effects and access the use of the tool for tough environmental status. The device is housed in a rough self-extinguishing plastic container.
