Industrial-Grade Reliability The uCOM-M700 and uCOM-M510 can operate in temperatures ranging as wide as -40°C to 85°C, which alongside industrial-grade CPUs and passive cooling architecture makes them ideal candidates for board-to-board rugged carrier integration for industrial environments. This is further augmented by the energy-efficient performance of the MediaTek Genio platform, which offers exceptional single and multi-core operation even when compared to CPUs with much higher power requirements. Dual Display Support Bolstered by Arm® Mali™-G57 GPU architecture, the uCOM-M700 and uCOM-M510 both offer native visual rendering capabilities to produce smooth, intelligent visuals via a multitude of display interfaces. These include HDMI 2.0, DP 1.4, eDP, and optional MIPI-DSI. This combination offloads tasks such as graphics acceleration and multi-threaded rendering from the module’s CPU for more streamlined operation in HMI applications. Multi-OS Compatibility The uCOM-M700 and uCOM-M510 give integrators flexibility when it comes to building HMI panel setups. For users seeking rapid development using a rich development library, the modules offer Ubuntu LTS. Alternatively, Yocto OS with Chromium browser support is perfect for production-optimized HMIs – particularly for responsive touchscreen HMIs. Conversely, Android is available by request for media-heavy smart retail displays.
