The Circular sight glass fitting Type 322A is a reinforced, flange-mounted sight glass for high-pressure vessel applications designed according to the construction principles of DIN 28121 and suitable for carrier flanges per ASME B16.5. It is built to allow high working pressures and elevated-temperature executions with appropriate gaskets and glass materials.

• Media: suitable for liquid and gaseous media
• Glass: borosilicate glass plates (dimensions beyond DIN 7080 possible); alternative protection by mica disc
• Sealing / tensioning: tension screws secure the glass; fitting must be fixed to carrier flange for sealing
• Functional limitations: wipers and some spraying devices cannot be used at high working pressures for Type 322A
• Coatings: FEP or Halar® available for chemical resistance
