Description
Overview
Type 390V circular sight glass fitting designed for observation and optional illumination of the interior of containers and pipelines in vacuum applications up to positive pressure.
Welded to a pipe socket or container wall; borosilicate sight glass (DIN 7080) clamped between two stainless steel flanges with selected gaskets.
Main features
Application range: vacuum to positive pressure (typical range −0.9 barg to max. 16 barg).
Material: stainless steel 1.4571 (316Ti) for flanges and housing.
Standard glass: borosilicate glass according to DIN 7080 (or customer specification).
End connection: welding ends according to DIN EN 1092-1 type 11.
Sealing: D‑ring or O‑ring gaskets; gasket materials include PTFE (Teflon®), NBR, silicone, EPDM, FKM.
Temperature resistance: up to 200 °C (various temperature ratings available).
Options
LED illumination (available for Ex and Non-Ex areas).
FEP or Halar® coating to protect the borosilicate glass against aggressive chemicals or alkalis.
