The threaded sight glass Type 327 is a hygienic, threaded tank sight glass based on DIN 11851 / EN 10357 designed for areas with high hygiene requirements (food, pharmaceutical, medical). It is suitable for liquid and gaseous media and can be configured with accessories to meet specific process needs.

Standards & basic construction

• Manufactured in accordance with DIN 11851 / EN 10357 (threaded socket welded to an open pipe socket).
• Media-contacting side sealed with a borosilicate glass disc per DIN 7080.
• Sealing via a specially shaped O-ring; components secured by a slotted nut for reliable seating.

• Borosilicate glass provides sealing per DIN 7080; where glass temperature limits are exceeded, a mica protective disc can be fitted for additional protection against temperature and steam.
• Sealing materials available: NBR, EPDM, silicone, FKM (Viton®) or PTFE (milk-pipe compatible options).
• Internal surface finish: Ra ≤ 0.8 μm.
• Suitable for liquid and gaseous media; custom designs and accessories (wipers, lights, coatings) available on request.
