The flange-mounted Manhole sight glass Type 325 seals access and inspection openings on tanks, silos and containers while allowing safe visual observation of internal processes. Suitable for liquid and gaseous media, it is available in large nominal sizes and several pressure and temperature ratings.

Materials & sealing

• Housing materials: stainless steel 1.4571 (316Ti) or 1.4404 (F316).
• Standard glass: borosilicate glass per DIN 7080 (other glass types to customer specification possible).
• Seals / gasket materials: fiber materials and options such as PTFE (Teflon®), NBR, novaphit® MST-XP, KlingerSil® C4400 and many other brand seals.
• Additional protection/coating options: FEP or Halar® coating to protect the glass from aggressive chemicals or lyes.

Accessories & optional equipment

• SGW sight glass wiper (PTFE or silicone blade) for cleaning the sight glass.
• SVI spraying devices for internal cleaning.
• LED lights (for Ex and non-Ex areas).
• Mica protection discs for higher temperature/steam protection.
