AQ Chlorine Sensor Kit – Reliable Residual Chlorine Monitoring in Remote Water Systems
The AQ IoT Data Logger (IP68), paired with the AQ Chlorine Sensor (IP67), provides a dependable and energy-efficient system for long-term monitoring of residual chlorine in water systems located in manholes or other off-grid environments.
The chlorine sensor connects via a sealed connector, operates with low 4–20 mA current, and is powered directly by the logger. With two replaceable D batteries, the setup ensures over 5 years of operation (with 60-minute logging and 2× daily sending), even when used alongside flow or pressure sensors.
Alternatively, the system can be powered from a mains supply or solar panels, enabling more frequent measurements and real-time transmission where needed.
The sensor uses 1 analog input, with three inputs remaining for other digital or analog sensors (e.g., pH, DO, radar, level, etc.).
Internal memory stores data at intervals configurable from 0.01 seconds to 1 month. Transmission frequency is fully adjustable – from 1 minute to once per month. Default: log every 30 minutes, send twice daily.
Minimum and maximum alarm thresholds can be defined per input. When exceeded, the system sends instant SMS or email alerts. If connected to external power, continuous online monitoring is available. Batteries are user-replaceable.
Configuration is done via USB or Bluetooth (AQ Android App) or remotely via AQ WEB. The logger supports LTE and NB-IoT. Optional models offer 1 or 2 relay outputs for automation or alarm control.
The logger and chlorine sensor can be purchased together or separately, depending on system requirements.
