Description

AQ Smart Hydrant – Intelligent Pressure, Temperature & Flow Monitoring The AQ Smart Hydrant is designed for real-time monitoring of underground or above-ground hydrants. It includes built-in pressure, temperature, and flow sensors, providing continuous insight into hydrant operation and water system performance. With an IP67 robust enclosure, integrated antenna, and battery life over 6 years, it’s ideal for long-term outdoor use. The hydrant measures pressure and temperature at all times, even when the valve is closed, making it possible to detect pressure drops, empty pipe conditions, and unauthorized use. When the hydrant is opened, it immediately sends flow data, including flow direction and cumulative usage. The device also tracks whether the valve is open or closed, acting as a smart security and usage monitor. It features USB and Bluetooth local communication for setup via the AQ Android App, or can be configured and managed remotely through AQ WEB. The AQ Smart Hydrant communicates via 2G/3G/4G or NB-IoT, and supports AQ Protocol and MQTT for integration into SCADA or third-party platforms. Alarm values and thresholds can be set per input, with real-time alerts via SMS or email. The system includes all core AQ IoT Data Logger features such as internal memory (0.01 s to 1 month), adjustable sending interval, battery status, and internal humidity detection.
