AQ Radar Sensor Kit – Precise Level Monitoring in Open Channels and Tanks
The AQ IoT Data Logger (IP68) combined with the AQ Radar Sensor provides an efficient and autonomous solution for long-term level monitoring in open channels or tanks, especially in locations without access to mains power.
The radar sensor is connectible via sealed connector and runs on very low power, powered directly by the logger. With two replaceable D batteries, the system achieves over 2 years of operation (60-minute logging, 2× daily sending).
The sensor uses 1 analog input, leaving three available for other digital or analog sensors (e.g., flow, pressure, temperature, pH, etc.).
In open channels, the measured water level can be converted into flow data using a channel-specific algorithm via the AQ WEB interface, making this setup ideal for non-contact flow monitoring.
All data is stored internally (interval from 0.01 s to 1 month), and transmission can be set from 1 minute to 1× per month. Factory default: 30 min logging, 2× daily sending.
Alarm thresholds for high/low levels can be configured, triggering real-time SMS or email alerts when exceeded. Batteries are user-replaceable. If connected to mains power, online live data is continuously available.
Configuration is possible locally via USB or Bluetooth (AQ Android App) or remotely via AQ WEB. The logger supports LTE and NB-IoT. Optional models include 1 or 2 relay outputs.
The logger and radar sensor can be ordered together or separately, depending on application needs.
