AQ IoT FLEX COMPACT SHAFT – Flow Monitoring in One Smart Package The AQ IoT FLEX COMPACT SHAFT combines the AQ insertion flow sensor with a compact, watertight shaft system. This ready-to-install set enables fast, non-intrusive installation without pipeline shutdown, ideal for retrofitting on all pipe types. Installation is simple: dig down to the pipe, attach the coupling, then connect the FLEX COMPACT SHAFT with its cast iron cover and pre-installed AQ sensor. The system is backfilled and can be asphalted over, allowing on-road installation. The measuring module remains accessible with special tools – even if buried over 2 meters deep. In under 4 hours, the system provides accurate flow, pressure, and temperature data directly from the pipe. The built-in AQ FLOW SENSOR includes pressure and temperature sensors, along with high-resolution electronics that track every propeller rotation – direction, speed, and position – enabling true real-time precision and ultra-low flow detection <0.019 m/s. Each unit is calibrated on a 9-point EN 17020-certified line, achieving <3% accuracy with proper installation (15x/5x DN). The design supports use in water with solid particles and offers long-term, reliable performance. Powered by three D batteries with 6+ years of lifetime, the system supports LTE and NB-IoT, and connects via Bluetooth (AQ Android App) or remotely via AQ WEB. A compact, robust, and intelligent solution for permanent underground flow monitoring.
