AQ Temperature Sensor Kit – Insertable Sensor for Precise Pipe Temperature Monitoring
The AQ IoT Data Logger (IP68), combined with the insertable temperature sensor, offers a compact and autonomous solution for accurate temperature measurement in pressurized water pipelines, without service interruption.
The sensor is installed with a hot-tapping clamp, suitable for plastic, metal, or concrete pipes from DN 80 to DN 500. After pressure drilling, the integrated valve is closed, and the telescopic temperature probe is inserted to the desired depth inside the pipe. The adjustable telescopic rod ensures precise positioning, even in larger diameters.
The sensor connects via a sealed connector and communicates using a 4–20 mA signal, powered directly by the logger. With two replaceable D batteries, the system operates over 6 years (logging every 60 min, sending 2× daily).
The temperature input uses 1 analog channel, leaving three free for other sensors like flow, pressure, pH, etc. The sensor offers accuracy class A according to DIN EN60751, with ±0.15 °C precision at 0 °C.
Data is stored internally with intervals from 0.01 s to 1 month, and sending can be adjusted independently. Default: log every 30 minutes, send twice daily.
Alarms can be set for high/low temperature, triggering real-time SMS or email alerts. If connected to mains or solar power, continuous online monitoring is enabled.
Configuration is done locally via USB or Bluetooth (AQ Android App) or remotely via AQ WEB. Supports LTE and NB-IoT, and offers optional relay outputs.
The logger and temperature sensor are available together or separately, depending on project needs.
