Description

Product information
BEKO condensate drain BEKOMAT® 3 CO EX — electronic, volume-controlled condensate drain for oil-contaminated and oil-free condensates; suitable for high compressor capacities and special applications.

Intrinsically safe
The BEKOMAT Ex fulfils the requirements of the protection type "intrinsically safe". The electronic system is designed so its energy is never capable of igniting gases and vapours of explosion group II 2G EEx ib IIB T4. Note: under certain circumstances explosive gases or vapours can escape from the BEKOMAT Ex via the condensate; the operator must ensure installation so that ignition of a potentially explosive atmosphere cannot occur.

Maintenance and spare parts
Suitable service units and spare parts are available for maintenance and long-term operation, ensuring reliable performance and efficient condensate discharge over time. Exchangeable membranes, valve parts and sensor boards facilitate on-site servicing.

The Special Solutions in overview
BEKOMAT® 03 / 06 LA / LALP / LP: Condensate drain in CO or stainless steel with/without idle load valve especially for high-pressure, multi-stage and turbo compressors, also for low pressures.
BEKOMAT® 03 / 06, CO or Stainless steel - ATEX: Condensate drain also for explosive environments.
BEKOMAT® 03 / 06 VACU: Condensate drain specialised for applications in vacuum systems.

Notes on function and safety
  • The BEKOMAT operates with an integrated capacitive sensor for volume-controlled condensate discharge to prevent unnecessary compressed air loss.
  • Do not exceed maximum operating pressure; perform service only when the system is depressurised.
  • Use pressure-resistant installation materials and secure feed and discharge piping.
  • In Ex installations, route condensate discharge so that any potentially explosive vapours cannot accumulate in a hazardous atmosphere.
