OverviewThe NIR Multi Online Analyzer MYRG monitors and adjusts flour and semolina quality in real time during milling. It provides continuous composition and moisture measurements that support process automation, consistency of end products and reduced waste.
Key benefits- Continuous quality control: real‑time measurement of composition (protein, fat) and other physicochemical properties to maintain consistent product specifications.
- Pre-calibrated applications: delivered with a range of Bühler calibration models for grains, seeds and pulses to reduce commissioning time.
- Operational efficiency: immediate detection of process deviations to reduce waste and downtime.
Food safety and traceabilityThe spectrometer records measurements in milliseconds and saves data automatically as trend graphs and statistics, enabling traceability for recalls and quality investigations.
How it worksMYRG is a multiplexing near‑infrared system that monitors up to six measurement positions placed before, during and after milling. The detector analyses reflected light from illuminated free‑flowing product and predicts quality using robust Bühler calibration models. Plant integration supports automatic control loops.
Automated milling processOnline NIR sensors are used in feedback loops to adjust milling parameters: verifying protein and moisture on incoming wheat for silo selection, adjusting mill settings for target ash content, dosing gluten powder to modify protein, or blending flours to meet specifications.
Other features- Designed for milling environments: compact sensors with robust casings to withstand dust, heat and vibration.
- Retrofit capability: sensors are easy to install in existing mills; typical system comprises up to six sensors plus a control cabinet.
- Complementary sensing (MYHB): optional online color and specks unit for visible contaminant detection and color monitoring.
- Field expertise: Bühler calibration models and industry experience support reliable predictions.
