Overview
The KL2809 16-channel digital output terminal links binary control signals from automation controllers to actuators at process level with electrical isolation. The module offers polarity reversal protection and delivers load currents via outputs protected against overload and short-circuit. Each of the 16 channels provides a status LED for visual indication. The compact HD form factor is optimized for space-saving installation in control cabinets. The terminal is designed for single-ended inputs; all connected components must share the same reference point. Power contacts are looped through.

Power and connection
Outputs are supplied via the KL2809 24 VDC power contact. Solid conductors can be connected tool-free using the direct plug-in connection technique. Loop-through power contacts simplify wiring and power distribution.

High density design
HD Bus Terminals increase packing density by providing 16 connection points within a 12 mm terminal housing, enabling compact, high-channel-count assemblies.
