OverviewSensor for chlorine dioxide (ClO₂) monitoring based on a membrane-covered amperometric 2-electrode system. Designed for water treatment applications (including seawater), bottle washers and CIP systems. The semipermeable membrane and electrode design provide resistance to surfactants and many chemical interferences, reduce pH dependence and allow reliable measurements across a wide range of water qualities. The sensor delivers fast response, stable readings, low slope drift and requires minimal maintenance.
Applications- Tap water monitoring
- Chlorine dioxide generators
- Sewage and wastewater treatment
- Pipeline and distribution disinfection
- Food processing: fruit and vegetable disinfection
- General industrial and municipal water treatment
Special features- Membrane-covered, mechanically robust system
- Tolerant to surfactants
- High chemical tolerance and reduced pH dependency
- Fast response (T90 ≈ 1 min) and stable performance
- Low maintenance and low slope drift (~-1%/month after calibration)
- Suitable for harsh water environments including seawater
Ambient conditions- Maximum temperature: 50 °C
- Maximum pressure: 1 bar (with retaining ring)
