OverviewThe German-made CP4MA*-AT total chlorine sensor uses a membrane-covered amperometric potentiostatic 3‑electrode system to measure total chlorine with reduced pH dependence (pH 4–12). Compatible with inorganic chlorinating agents and partially tolerant to surfactants, it is certified ATEX/IECEx for intrinsic safety in Zone 1. The sensor provides automatic temperature compensation, stable long-term performance, 4–20 mA output and requires no zero-point adjustment. Calibration is performed using the DPD-4 method.
Special features- ATEX and IECEx tested and certified for Zone 1
- partial tolerance to surfactants
- operates at low conductivity
- reduced pH dependence (pH 4–12)
- low maintenance requirement
Applications- Seawater and vessel ballast water monitoring and control
- Swimming pools, drinking water, service water, process water, sea & brine water
