DescriptionThe CL4.2 free chlorine sensor is a German-made, membrane-covered amperometric two-electrode sensor with integrated electronics and an internal temperature sensor for automatic temperature compensation. It measures pH-dependent residual (free) chlorine and requires calibration using the DPD-1 method. No zero-point adjustment is necessary. Measurements can be influenced by pH variations and the presence of ozone (O3). The sensor is designed for water without surfactants to avoid membrane contamination and must be operated in a dedicated flow cell to satisfy flow and pressure requirements.
