Short-range underwater measurement at 1 MHzThe BBDM-D1M is an underwater ultrasonic transducer designed for precise short-range ranging and depth measurement over a reference range of 0.10 to 3.0 m. It is intended for integration on ROVs/AUVs, inspection rigs and instrumentation used in tanks and confined water bodies.
Narrow acoustic beamThe transducer operates at a center frequency of 1 MHz ±5% with a half-power beam angle (‑3 dB) of 3.0° ±10%. For optimal results, align the beam with the target and assess the acoustic path, target size and surface condition prior to deployment.
