Overview

The RM646-ERX810 is a 4U rackmount Edge AI server from DFI engineered for high-performance edge computing and AI workloads. It supports dual 4th/5th Generation Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors, multiple PCIe Gen5 GPUs, and provides IPMI-based out-of-band management for remote monitoring and control.

System configuration & expansion

The platform accommodates high-density AI accelerators with three Gen5 x16 slots for dual-slot GPUs, multiple NVMe/SATA storage options and up to 1 TB DDR5 ECC memory to support inference and analytics at the edge. BIOS and BMC offer standard server management features for remote deployment.

I/O, monitoring and management

Front-panel interfaces and a dedicated IPMI LAN simplify onsite maintenance and remote monitoring. The BMC AST2600 provides KVM-over-IP and sensor telemetry for 24/7 operation monitoring.
