Overview
For cost-effective, scheduled forming of large numbers of square and rectangular columns with variable cross-sections. The KS Xlife column formwork features a folding mechanism for fast opening and closing and Framax Xlife facing for high reuse.

Rapid forming

• Folding mechanism: units fold open and shut to minimise erection and striking times.
• Wide adjustment range: adjustable column cross-sections from 20 to 60 cm in 5 cm grid without system change.
• Fair-faced concrete quality: form-facings are screwed from the rear to avoid tie-point or frame imprints.

Xlife facing — reduced close-out costs

• Plastic-enhanced Framax Xlife surface allows very high reuse cycles.
• Improved surface cleaning, including with high-pressure washer, reduces repair work.
• Special sheet structure permits nailing at low temperatures without splintering.

Save crane time

• Complete column formwork units can be repositioned with a single crane cycle without disassembly.
• With shifting wheels attached, units up to 3.60 m can be repositioned horizontally on the same level without a crane.

Workplace safety

• Safe vertical access with Ladder system XS.
• All-round safe working position with column-formwork platforms.
• Practical handling accessories (panel props, lifting/repositioning devices, etc.) facilitate safe operation.

• Positioning aid enables fast plumbing and alignment using a nail-puller.
