DescriptionThe Deox/2000® is an online dechlorination analyzer for continuous measurement of sulfur dioxide (SO2) and total chlorine residuals. It delivers accurate monitoring of sulfite and total chlorine in effluent streams and includes a center-zero residual analysis capability to control SO2 at a setpoint for complete dechlorination while minimizing SO2 overfeed. Systems can be configured with the SFC electronic package for single-point control or the MFC package for multi-point measurement and control.
Features- Continuous on-line measurement of sulfite and total chlorine residuals
- Five selectable operating ranges: 0.5–10.0 mg/L for SO2 and Cl2
- Proven amperometric three-electrode measuring cell for direct residual measurement
- Performance unaffected by turbidity, temperature or conductivity variations
- Stable chloramine-T reagent for generation of the iodine bias
- Low-flow sample cell design for economical reagent consumption
Benefits- Fast response time for precise control and monitoring of rapid water-quality changes
- Prevents costly chemical overfeed by monitoring sulfite residuals
- Separate flow cell and electronic packages provide installation flexibility
Applications- Boiler feedwater
- Cooling tower water treatment
- Equipment washing and sanitization
- Industrial pretreatment
- High-purity water treatment
- Chloramination control
- Distribution system re-chlorination
- Drinking water disinfection
- Reverse osmosis membrane pretreatment
- Wastewater and reuse chlorination/dechlorination
