Description

The Flygt N 3306 pump series delivers reliable, energy-efficient performance for continuous pumping in municipal pump stations, stormwater, treatment influent and effluent, raw water intake, irrigation, dry docks and more. Options include premium-efficiency motors, explosion-proof pump versions, and N-hydraulics in Hard-Iron or grey iron. Flygt N 3306 pumps can also be delivered for submersible, vertical dry, or horizontal dry installation (configurations P, S, T, and Z). Industry-leading N-technology hydraulics Thanks to the sustained high efficiency of self-cleaning N-hydraulics, Flygt N-pumps consume up to 25% less energy than pumps with traditional hydraulic designs. That adds up to significant energy cost savings over the lifetime of the pump. Most solid objects entering the N-pump will pass through the impeller between the impeller vanes. For soft, stringy fibers that may enter the pump, backswept leading edges on the impeller vanes sweep solids away from the center of the impeller to the perimeter, where they are caught inside a relief groove and pushed out of the pump. Due to the mechanical self-cleaning design, a sludge concentration up to 8% can easily be pumped. For abrasive or corrosive pumpage, Flygt offers N-hydraulics in a 60 HRC Hard-Iron that has demonstrated five times greater wear resistance compared to standard grey iron material.
