Description

Flygt N 3400 high-capacity wastewater pumps feature self-cleaning, non-clog N-technology hydraulics that provide up to 25% energy savings compared to conventional impeller types. Able to handle clean water, surface water, or wastewater containing solids and long, stringy fibers, the series is a reliable choice for a range of applications. N 3400 pumps are available with Hard-Iron or grey cast iron N-hydraulics and are suitable for submerged or dry installation (configurations P, T, and Z), providing flexibility in pump station design. Explosion-proof pump versions are also available. Premium N-technology impeller design Flygt N-pumps are equipped with the industry-leading N-technology hydraulics to take on the toughest applications and get the job done. Thanks to the N-hydraulics, neither hard solids nor soft, elongated fibers are a match for the N 3400 pump. Most solid objects entering the pump will pass through the impeller between the impeller vanes. If an object gets caught on the leading edge of one of the vanes, it will slide along the backswept shape towards the perimeter of the inlet, where it is caught in the relief groove and pushed out of the pump. Due to the mechanical self-cleaning design, a sludge concentration up to 8% can easily be pumped. For abrasive and corrosive environments, N-hydraulics are available in Flygt’s Hard-Iron. The 60 HRC, high-chromium-content material which has demonstrated five times greater wear resistance than standard grey iron.
