Featuring industry-leading self-cleaning N-technology hydraulics, the Flygt N 3356 pump series is designed for long life and sustained high efficiency in clean water, surface water and wastewater.
The series is available with Hard-Iron, grey iron, or duplex stainless steel impellers; with premium-efficiency motors; in explosion-proof versions; and for submersible or dry installation (configurations P, T and Z).
N-technology for clog-free operation
The Flygt N-impeller is a semi-open impeller with self-cleaning capability. Backswept leading edges on the impeller vanes ensure that no material sticks to the impeller. These leading edges and the vane tips also work together with a stationary relief groove in the insert ring to mechanically push the most difficult and stubborn solids out of the pump. The result is clog-free pumping that reduces call-out costs by approximately a third and reduces energy consumption by a quarter, compared to pumps with conventional impellers.
Due to the mechanical self-cleaning design, a sludge concentration up to 8% can easily be pumped.
For greater wear resistance in abrasive and corrosive environments, N-hydraulics are available in Hard-Iron.
