HBE tank heaters are used for preheating hydraulic oil and maintaining the operating temperature on hydraulic units.

The heaters are available in the following models: VR tank heaters with magnet clamps, PTHK screw-in cartridge heaters, RHK screw-in tube heaters, and WHK angled screw-in tube heaters, as well as the EDH pre-heaters.

The oil pre-heaters of EDH series are designed for heating hydraulic oil, heat transfer oil and other flame-resistant fluids.

Technical specifications

• The fluid to be heated is lead through a heating element bundle with the aid of baffles
• With pre-determined minimum flow rate a sufficient flow velocity is reached
• Thus, the carbonisation temperature is avoided
• The mounting position is either vertically or horizontally. Vertically: Provide electrical connection on top.
• Heating capacity 0 - 90 kW
• Thermostat: 0 – 90°C (without EDH-500)
• Temperature limiter at 100°C (wihtout EDH-500)
• Installation of a flow control
• Avoid after-heating effect / Make sure that baffles are cooled down
