Overview
Designed for medium to heavy‑duty loading operations such as warehouses, logistics centres and front‑end attachment applications. Available with pneumatic tyres and fuel options (Kubota 3.8L Diesel or Kubota 3.8L LPG). ECO-eLo fuel efficiency mode can reduce energy consumption by up to 15% compared with previous-generation engines.

Detailed description
The industrial engine features a cast‑iron cylinder block and a design without high‑tension leads, distributor caps or rotors. Super‑quick glow plugs and a cold‑start device advance injection timing by coolant temperature to support reliable cold starts and cleaner exhaust. Emissions and fuel use are further optimised by controlling injection timing according to engine load. Performance optimisation includes cooling on demand, load‑sensing hydraulics (power on demand), RPM management and an alternate idle speed to reduce total fuel consumption in typical operations. ECO-eLo mode reduces energy use by up to 15% versus the previous generation while maintaining productivity.

The powertrain is managed and protected by the Pacesetter VSM™ on‑board computer using a CANbus network. VSM permits performance adjustment, monitors key functions, enables quick diagnostics and minimises downtime. The electronically controlled DuraMatch™ transmission provides smoother directional changes to reduce shock loading and extend clutch life. VSM‑managed functions such as the Auto Deceleration System help extend brake and tyre life. With the Autospeed Hydraulics option, engine speed automatically increases during lift to deliver full hydraulic power. VSM can also maintain or prevent travel until the operator applies the accelerator, simplifying control actions.

The operator compartment offers easy access, wide visibility and ergonomically placed controls. Operator comfort is addressed with a full‑suspension seat and an isolated powertrain delivering whole‑body vibration of approximately 0.6 m/s2. The infinitely adjustable tilt steering column and available TouchPoint™ mini‑levers or cowl‑mounted mechanical hydraulic levers reduce operator fatigue during long shifts.

CANbus reduces wiring complexity and distances wiring from heat sources. Non‑contact Hall‑Effect sensors and switches are sealed to IP66. Hydraulic systems use leak‑free O‑ring face seal (ORFS) fittings to reduce leaks and simplify maintenance.
