Product overviewDuct heaters are electric heating units designed to heat flowing gases (air, nitrogen, oxygen and others) up to 900°C. They are custom-designed for process, manufacturing and marine industries and for demanding HVAC applications where high-temperature gas heating is required.
Design and constructionDepending on required temperature rise, flow rate and gas velocity, we select between tubular heaters, finned tubular heaters or spiralized open-resistance wire. The heaters are installed in a mild steel or stainless steel duct, tube or custom frame. Heater clusters increase heat transfer efficiency and turbulence within the flow.
Control and integrationControl options include built-in sensors, thermostats, thermocouples and flow sensors. Systems can be supplied with control panels and fully integrated heating systems, or as retrofit units compatible with existing plant controls.
