Product description Heated hoses transport liquids, gases and viscous media while maintaining temperature. IHP heated hoses are flexible and suitable for use with moving equipment. Product range covers industrial heated hoses and heated hoses for analytical equipment.
Construction A heated hose consists of an inner hose (PTFE or metal) enclosed by a pressure-resistant outer jacket. A customized flexible heating cable with an integrated sensor is placed between the inner hose and the outer jacket. Heat losses can be minimized by a thermal double layer protected by a durable outer surface and end caps.
Applications Used to keep media process-ready, prevent condensate formation in gaseous media, ensure uniform quality, enable production or measurements at other locations, connect moving parts and equipment, and maintain optimum proportions throughout the process.
Technical specification Working temperature up to 550°C. Supply configured on request. Power per metre adjusted according to process requirements. Built-in temperature sensors: TC J (Fe-CuNi), TC K (NiCr-Ni), RTD PT100 or RTD Ni120. Thermal insulation options: silicone foam, textile glass or silicate fiber. Process pressure up to 285 bar at 250°C. Hose length up to 150 m. Protection class up to IP54 (EN 60529). End caps of PA plastic, elastomer rubber or aluminium. Common fittings: DKR, RSL, RSS, DKL, DKM, DKS, DKJ, BDN, BSP. Connection with standard plugs or cable connection.
