Product overviewCoil silicone heaters (Series 185) are pre‑coiled, flexible heating elements designed for small-diameter pipes and components where compact, curved heating is required. They combine silicone laminated construction with embedded resistance wire to provide uniform surface heating up to 200°C and are suitable for a range of industrial applications.
Applications- Small-diameter pipes carrying fluid or gas
- Semiconductor processing equipment
- Frost protection of lines and fittings
- Anti-condensation on enclosures and housings
- Heat-loss maintenance for process lines
Construction and installationElements consist of resistance wire encapsulated between two silicone layers and laminated under heat and pressure. The product is supplied pre-coiled and remains flexible, allowing straightforward installation on curved or straight pipes. Standard fit diameters begin at Ø6.35 mm with nominal lengths up to 1020 mm; mounting up to Ø12.7 mm is supported. Custom dimensions and lengths are available on request.
Temperature controlAn integrated temperature sensor can be supplied for closed-loop regulation. Sensor outputs are compatible with PID control cabinets (sensor + PID cabinet solutions available) to ensure stable temperature control in process applications.
