Product overviewIndustrial temperature sensors for process control: PT100 RTDs and a wide range of thermocouples (J, N, K and other types). Designed for measurement in liquids, gases and solids, these probes are adaptable for demanding environments with selectable leads, protection tubes and mounting options.
Applications and integrationSuitable for process monitoring, control loops and safety interlocks in industrial installations. Choose sensor type based on temperature range, response time and compatibility with your control system. For safety and reliable operation, pair process sensors with a high-temperature limiter and integrate with PID control cabinets where required.
Installation and optionsMultiple mounting options ease integration: threaded fittings, flanges, clamps, plates or bayonet mounts. Protection tubes and DIN heads (aluminum or stainless steel) are available, with protection ratings up to IP68 and ATEX-certified variants. Lead and connector options, plus transmitters (4-20 mA, HART; DIN-rail version), enable direct connection to PLCs and control equipment.
Technical specificationPT100: -200°C to +600°C (recommended -40°C to +300°C depending on lead type); copper leads; 2/3/4/6-wire; classes B/A/AA; ungrounded only. Thermocouple J: -40°C to +750°C (recommended up to +550°C depending on lead and sheath); Fe/CuNi; class 1; grounded or ungrounded. Thermocouple N: -40°C to +1200°C (recommended up to +850°C depending on lead and sheath); NiCroSil/NiSil; class 1; grounded or ungrounded. Thermocouple K: -40°C to +1150°C (depending on lead and sheath); NiCr/NiAl; class 1; grounded or ungrounded. Other types: L, R, S (high temp, ceramic), T (accurate at negative temperatures). Lead materials: silicone (max +200°C), PTFE (max +260°C), steel braid (max +400°C) with/without spring, glass-fiber (max +350°C / +450°C / +1000°C). DIN head options: aluminum or stainless steel; IP65/IP67/IP68; ATEX. Connectors: standard and miniature plugs (female/male/built-in), PT100 3/4-wire plugs, Harting (PT100 only), M12, DIN43650. Transmitters and communication: 4-20 mA transmitter, HART protocol; DIN-rail version available.
