Product description
The COMBISTOP type 08 is KEB’s mini-series of closed-current spring-applied brakes. Designed for small loads, the compact construction allows use as a service brake in dynamic applications and as a holding brake with an emergency-stop function in static applications.

Torque range
The torque range for the COMBISTOP 08 mini brake is 0.3 Nm to 2 Nm.

Options
Hand release
An optional hand release enables manual opening of the COMBISTOP 08. This is useful in powerless situations or when the rotor is worn and the brake must still be released manually.

Flange / friction plate
The COMBISTOP 08 can be fitted with an optional flange or an alternative friction plate. If the motor endshield lacks the required material quality or flatness, a flange or friction plate provides an optimal mating surface.

Sealing plug
The brake can be equipped with a sealing plug to protect the unit from external contamination.

CCV version
For particularly harsh or cold environments, a CCV version is available. Temperatures down to -40 °C are supported.

Customer-specific torque
If a modified braking torque is required, a customer-specific increase or reduction of torque can be realized during production.

Customer-specific voltages
Custom coils with non-standard supply voltages can be produced on request.

Connector assemblies
To simplify installation at customer sites, the brakes can be supplied with ready-to-connect cables, connectors, contacts or ferrules.

Factory certificates
Factory certificate 2.1 or test certificate 3.1 according to DIN EN 10204 can be issued on request (e.g. torque test confirmation).
