Overview
The new S1 high-performance holding brake features a patented friction system that delivers substantially higher braking torque than conventional spring-applied brakes. It is particularly suited for servo applications with increased safety requirements. The plug & play design ensures easy assembly. Torque range: 0.5 Nm to 60 Nm across 8 sizes.

Options

• Felt ring: Optional felt ring to protect the COMBISTOP S1 (and therefore the braking torque) against oil leaking from adjacent bearings.
• CCV (Cold Climate Version): Available for particularly harsh/cold environments (temperatures down to -40 °C).
• Braking torque modification: Torque can be increased or reduced per customer specifications during production.
• Customized voltages: Custom coil voltages can be realised on request in the internal production process.
• Connector assembly: Products can be equipped with ready-to-connect cables with plugs, contacts or wire end ferrules to simplify assembly.
• Certificates: Factory certificate 2.1 (DIN EN 10204) and acceptance test certificate 3.1 (DIN EN 10204) available on request; 3.1 includes results of specific tests such as torque test.
