Description

GAS TURBINE QUICK-CLOSING VALVE TYPE KVH-HT The KVH-HT Valves are especially designed to fully meet the stringent requirements as an Emergency Shut Down Device (ESD) for Gas Turbine installations. The KVH ensures first-class in terms of premium tightness and shortest closing time ever – the KVH-Valves reacts significantly lower than 1 second. Fuels: gaseous Applications: Gas Turbines, Industrial Combustion NOMINAL SIZE: DN 3″ TO DN 12″ OPERATING PRESSURE: MAX. 50,0 BAR G OPERATING TEMPERATURE: MAX. + 225°C YOUR BENEFITS Closing time < 1 second Suitable for hugh operating temperature up to 225 degree Celcius Pressure balanced design for switching at high differential pressures Heavy duty design for highest number of operating cycles High-performance valve with extended service life H2-ready OPERATION DETAILS The linear movement of the valve stem is generated by a strong pneumatic actuator which is energized by a solenoid valve. The automatic forced quick-closing function – in less than 1 second – is ensured by a heavy-duty spring. The valve plug is equipped with a special soft sealing element ensuring premium tightness (leakage rate A acc. EN 12266-1).
